Restaurant La Forge in Antibes is simply divine. If you’ve never had a Hamburger de Canard au Foie Gras (Duck Burger with Foie Gras) you simply must! Other menu items worthy of trying are the amazing Gratinée à l’Oignon (Home made Onion Soup) and the Toast de Chèvre Chaud au Miel de Lavande (Grilled Goats Cheese on Toast Drizzled with Lavender Honey).
After looking further in to the Prefab movement, I was feeling like Modern Homes blog need a whole section dedicated to “Pre-Fabulous” homes.
Amazing…..that’s all that needs to be said about Flat Pak House.
Reusing materials is also a wonderful idea coupled with pre-fab design. Single Speed Design does just that with their “Big Dig” house.

located in The Villard Mansion at The New York Palace Hotel on Madison Avenue, is one restaurant not to be missed. If not for their eclectic “New American” prix fix menu or their extensive wine list but for the amazing ambience and history behind this iconic New York location.
Sweetie Pies in Napa is one stop that can not be missed while in the area. Great for breakfast, but even better for their home made pies. I went with the peach and raspberry pie and must say, it was delicious. Best of all, there was not a raspberry seed to be found and the walnut and coconut crisp topping just added to the great flavor of the crust.
The French Laundry One of the most amazing meals on this planet. Yes, it’s that good.
The nine course lunch (thirteen if you don’t count the fabulous chocholates and petefores) started off with whatever Mr. Keller wants! Everyday a changing menu bring beautiful colors to the plate….I love the Laundry
